INGREDIENTS

  • 8 oz cubed ham
  • 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni
  • 4 oz can diced green chilies
  • 2 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick® mix
  • 1 tomato, sliced 1/4 inch slices
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley for garnish, optional

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray 9 1/2-inch glass deep dish pie plate with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine ham, macaroni and 2 cups cheese. Toss to mix well. Pour ham mixture into pie plate and level.
  • Spread the chilies over the ham mixture.
  • In the same bowl, combine the milk, eggs and Bisquick®. Whisk to mix well. Pour the milk mixture over the ham mixture in the pie plate. Place the pie plate onto a sheet pan. Place the pie plate along with sheet pan into the heated oven and cook for 45 minutes. Check whether the pie is done by inserting a toothpick into the center. If the toothpick when removed is dry, the pie is done.
  • After cooking for 45 minutes, cover the top of the pie with tomato slices. Return to oven and cook for 10 minutes more. Sprinkle remaining cheese over tomatoes. Return to oven for 1 or 2 minutes or until cheese melts. Let pie rest for 10 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley is desired.
