INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice or to taste
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • 4 (6-ounce) flounder or other white meat fish fillets
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves, chopped

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F. Lightly oil a 9×13-inch baking dish or coat with nonstick spray.
  • In a small bowl, whisk the butter, the garlic, the lemon juice, and the lemon zest together.
  • Season the fillets with the salt and the pepper, place them in the prepared baking dish, and drizzle them with the butter mixture.
  • Bake until the fillets flake easily with a fork and reach an internal temperature of 145°F, about 10-12 minutes. Garnish with the parsley and serve.
