Chicken Wings in Oyster Sauce Recipe

Chicken Wings in Oyster Sauce browns wings in garlic oil then cooks them in a mixture of soy sauce, oyster sauce and sugar creating a very tasty twist to traditional wing recipes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and halved
  • 8 chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat wok or frying pan; coat bottom and sides with oil. Rub bottom and sides of pan with garlic, then discard garlic.
  • Disjoint wings into 3 pieces. Add middles and tips of wings to pan and brown on both sides. Add rest of wing pieces and brown also.
  • Mix soy and oyster sauces together and add to chicken wings. Stir in sugar and water. Cover pan and cook over medium-low heat for 15 minutes. Transfer to serving dish, and serve.
