Chiffonade Salad Dressing Recipe is a nice variation of the basic French Dressing by combining salad oil, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, salt, dry mustard, paprika, cayenne pepper, hard-cooked egg, chopped cooked beets, parsley and onion.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Dash cayenne
  • 1 hard-cooked egg, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped cooked beets
  • 2 tablespoons snipped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion

DIRECTIONS

  • Combine all ingredients in screw-top jar.
  • Cover and shake. Chill. Shake again just before serving.
