INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup bulgur wheat
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup farina cereal

DIRECTIONS

  • Place the bulgur, salt and water in a kettle with a tight-fitting lid. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
  • Add the farina slowly, stirring constantly.
  • Continue to stir, and cook for about 10 minutes, or until thick.
  • Serve, as you would potatoes, along with Beef and Chicken Stew (search recipes).
