INGREDIENTS

  • 2 16-oz. cans sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
  • 2 Tbsp. dark brown sugar
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 strips bacon, diced
  • 1 lb. fully-cooked sausage, sliced

DIRECTIONS

  • Combine sauerkraut and brown sugar. Place in slow cooker. Add layers of onion, bacon, and sausage. Add enough water to cover half of sausage.
  • Cover. Cook on Low 5-6 hours, or on High 3 hours.
