INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 pounds bone-in or boneless pork chops (6 4-ounce portions)
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS

  • Adjust the oven rack to the middle position. Preheat the broiler on high.
  • Spray a broiler pan with a tray or a baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together the ketchup, the honey, the soy sauce, and the garlic. Lightly season the pork chops on both sides with the salt and the pepper. Brush each chop with the glaze mixture on both sides.
  • Place the chops on the broiler tray and broil, turning every 5 minutes and basting throughout, until the pork chops are cooked through at 145°F and the glaze is caramelized, about 20 - 25 minutes. Serve hot.
