INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. shrimp
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of white pepper
  • 1/2 tsp RosDee seasoning powder
  • 6 tbsp ice-cold water
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup tempura flour

DIRECTIONS

  • Devein and clean the shrimp.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix tempura flour, salt, white pepper, and flavor seasoning. Gradually add ice-cold water to make a batter.
  • Heat oil in a wok or deep-frying pan. Dip a shrimp into the batter, then into the breadcrumbs, making sure it's well-coated.
  • Fry the shrimp in hot oil until golden. Cooking time varies by shrimp size. Make sure not to overcook, or shrimp will be tough. Serve immediately with a dipping sauce such as sweet chili sauce and for a complete meal, pair with steamed rice.
