INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. cooked ham, diced
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • black pepper to taste
  • 3 Tbl sweet pickle relish
  • 2 tsp yellow or Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, chopped
  • 1 green onion, finely sliced
  • 2 Tbl dill pickle juice

DIRECTIONS

  • Place ham and mayonnaise into the bowl of a food processor. Pulse to chop the ham into small pieces about the size of a rice grain.
  • Add celery, black pepper and relish to the bowl and process until the celery is chopped fine.
  • Add the mustard, dill pickles, green onion and pickle juice. Process until the mixture is very fine. Remove to a serving bowl.
  • Serve sandwiches on bread of choice, sliced bread, hoagie buns or hamburger buns, etc. Add lettuce and tomato or other ingredients as desired.
