INGREDIENTS

  • 6 - 8 large jalapeno peppers
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 3/4 cups white vinegar
  • 1 Tbl. Kosher salt
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano, dried

DIRECTIONS

  • Slice jalapenos into 1/8 inch rounds. Discard stem and stem end. Place peppers into a colander and rinse in cold water to remove excess and loose seeds.
  • Place all other ingredients into a sauce pan and place on medium heat. Bring to boil.
  • Add jalapenos slices to hot liquid and stir. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  • Remove jalapenos slices and place in glass container. Pour liquid left in pot into container and over jalapenos to cover. Place lid on container and refrigerate.
