Shrimp Alfredo Recipe makes a delicious sauce using sauteed garlic, vegetable oil, cornstarch, milk or half n half or cream and Parmesan cheese then saucing cooked shrimp and pasta to create this delicious shrimp alfredo recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound, precooked, deveined shrimp
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 tbl vegetable oil
  • 2 tbl cornstarch
  • 2 cups milk, half n half, or cream
  • 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
  • Pasta of choice for number of servings desired
  • Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, saute garlic in oil, but do not brown.
  • Add add cornstarch to garlic and stir to coat with oil. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens.
  • While thickening sauce, cook pasta according to package instructions.
  • After sauce thickens, add cheese and mix well. Add shrimp to sauce to heat through. Pour Alfredo sauce over pasta and toss well to coat pasta with sauce. Serve.
