INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup real mayonnaise
  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1 tsp dried dill weed
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp finely chopped onion

DIRECTIONS

  • Place mayonnaise in a large bowl. Chop dill pickle slices fine. Add to mayonnaise and stir to mix well.
  • Add the dill weed to the mixture and stir to mix well. Add the lemon juice and mix well.
  • Add the sugar, mix well. Add the pepper and mix well.
  • Add the onion to the mixture and mix well. Place tartar sauce, covered, into the refrigerator to chill for at least one hour.
