INGREDIENTS

  • 6 slices bread toasted
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 slices deli sliced turkey
  • 4 slices deli sliced ham
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1/2 cup lettuce washed and chopped

DIRECTIONS

  • Place bacon in a cold skillet laying flat. Turn heat to medium. Cook bacon, turning as needed, until bacon is crisp. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Toast bread (no butter or margarine) in a toaster, on a flat griddle or other means until both sides of bread are lightly toasted.
  • (Do the following twice to make two sandwiches.) Place two slices of toast onto a flat surface. Cover the up side of the toast with mayonnaise. Place one slice of cheese on each piece of toast. Place two slices of tomato on each slice of cheese. Top cheese with 2 slices of turkey. Place one slice of toast on top of the turkey and spread with mayonnaise. Top the toast with 2 slices of ham. Break the bacon slice in half and place two slices of bacon on top of the ham.
  • Place 1/2 the lettuce on top of the bacon. Top the lettuce with a slice of cheese. Cover one side of the remaining slice of toast with mayonnaise. Place the last piece of toast on top of the sandwich, mayonnaise side down. Holding the sandwiches firmly, cut each sandwich from corner to opposite corner cutting the sandwich into 4 triangles. Secure the pieces with toothpicks.
