INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 4 4oz cubed steak
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/3 cup fine bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

DIRECTIONS

  • Combine the egg, pepper, salt and milk and mix well. Heat the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the cubed steaks to the egg mixture and let soak. Mix the Parmesan cheese and the bread crumbs and mix well. Remove the cubed steaks from the egg mixture and coat well with the bread crumb mixture.
  • Add the steak to the skillet over medium heat and brown well on both sides. Drain the skillet.
  • Cover the steaks with the two remaining cheeses and top with the tomato paste. Cook for another 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 170°F and the cheese has melted.
