INGREDIENTS

  • 2/3 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup dry sherry
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tsp dried tarragon, or to taste
  • 1 tsp dried marjoram, or to taste
  • 3 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, minced

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat the oven to 400° F.
  • Mix the breadcrumbs, the sherry, the butter, the garlic, the salt, the tarragon, and the marjoram together in a bowl.
  • Place the shrimp in a baking dish. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs mixture over the top of the shrimp.
  • Bake the shrimp mixture until golden-brown, about 7 minutes. Garnish the shrimp mixture with the parsley and serve. (Note: size of the shrimp being used is critical. Small shrimp will take less time and larger a little more. For a 31 size shrimp the 7 minutes is about correct. Over cooked shrimp will be tough and dry.)
