INGREDIENTS

  • 1 8 1/2-ounce can pineapple slices
  • 1 3-ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 medium banana, peeled and diced (1 cup)
  • 4 maraschino cherries, quartered
  • 1/4 cup snipped pitted dates
  • Lettuce

DIRECTIONS

  • Drain pineapple. reserving 1 tablespoon syrup.
  • Beat cream cheese, mayonnaise, and reserved pineapple syrup together till smooth. Fold in banana, cherries, and dates.
  • Arrange one pineapple slice on each of 4 lettuce lined plates. Top each slice with the cheese fruit mixture.
