INGREDIENTS

  • For the Pork:
  • 4 boneless pork chops, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • For the Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • salt and pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS

  • Season pork evenly with onion powder, salt, and pepper. In a large, 12-inch skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add pork and sear for 3-5 minutes on all sides until cooked through (about 13-15 minutes total). Pork is cooked through when it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove the pork from the skillet and set it on a plate. Tent it to keep the pork warm.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Whisk in flour until slightly thickened. Add in chicken broth, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  • Let the sauce simmer for 5-8 minutes, or until thickened.
  • Add pork bites back to the pan and toss them in the sauce to coat. Serve immediately.
