INGREDIENTS

  • 4- 4 Ounce Venison Steaks
  • 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon Coconut Aminos (or soy sauce)
  • 3 Cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • Dollop of Butter

DIRECTIONS

  • Whisk together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, coconut aminos, garlic, black pepper, thyme, and parsley in a bowl. Place steaks in a shallow dish (I use a 9X13 baking pan with a lid). Pour marinade over steaks, cover, and place in the refrigerator. Marinate steaks in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours, and up to 24. Flip steaks over once in the marinade.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat and oil grates.
  • Remove steaks from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  • Grill steaks over medium-high heat until the outside is browned and the center is still pink. This takes roughly 5 minutes per side. Or until an instant-read thermometer reads 130°F. Do not overcook. Just before steaks are finished grilling, add a dollop of butter to each to enhance flavor. Remove from grill, allow steaks to sit in juices for 10-15 minutes before serving.
