INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. green beans, stringed and snapped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp granulated garlic
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped fine

DIRECTIONS

  • If fresh beans are used, string the beans and snap into segments about 1-inch long. Place the fresh beans into a large pot and cover with water. Bring beans to a boil and boil for 20 to 25 minutes or until beans are becoming tender.
  • Drain beans in a colander once they begin to become tender. If using canned beans, drain them in a colander.
  • Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter to the heated skillet. Once the butter has melted, add the onion and stir to coat. Cook the onion until the onion is softened. Add the beans to the skillet and stir well.
  • Sprinkle the beans with the garlic. Stir. Sprinkle the beans with the chicken bouillon. Stir. Cook the beans, stirring occasionally until the beans are tender. Enjoy.
