INGREDIENTS

  • 12 ounces Spinach, frozen
  • For Brown Butter Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS

  • Thaw spinach. Steam spinach in a steamer basket fitted over a pot of boiling water. Steam till wilted, no more than 3 minutes. Drain off excess water.
  • Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat; cook until butter begins to brown and smells nutty, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  • Place spinach in serving dish, pour brown butter sauce over, toss to coat well and service immediately.
