The melding of ingredients lends distinct African influence to this dish which is a one dish meal using chuck steak, chicken, whole tomatoes, green pepper, onion, Tabasco, salt and pepper to create this delicious African recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
1 1 1/2 lb. chuck steak
|
1 2 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up
|
1 28 oz can whole tomatoes
|
1 green pepper, cut into chunks
|
1 yellow onion, peeled and chopped
|
1 tsp. Tabasco or to taste
|
Salt and pepper to taste
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Debone, trim and cube the chuck steak. Brown the steak.
|
|
2:
Place all ingredients in a large kettle with lid, and simmer covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, or until the chicken and beef are tender.

Serve with Couscous (search recipes).
