The melding of ingredients lends distinct African influence to this dish which is a one dish meal using chuck steak, chicken, whole tomatoes, green pepper, onion, Tabasco, salt and pepper to create this delicious African recipe.


INGREDIENTS
1 1 1/2 lb. chuck steak
1 2 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up
1 28 oz can whole tomatoes
1 green pepper, cut into chunks
1 yellow onion, peeled and chopped
1 tsp. Tabasco or to taste
Salt and pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS
1: Debone, trim and cube the chuck steak. Brown the steak.
 
2: Place all ingredients in a large kettle with lid, and simmer covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, or until the chicken and beef are tender.
 
3: Serve with Couscous (search recipes).
