Marinated Flank Steak Recipe uses shallots, olive oil, lemon juice, red wine and thyme to marinate flank steak in creating this deliciously tasty flank steak recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
4 large shallots, chopped
|
2 Tbls. olive oil
|
2 Tbls. fresh lemon juice
|
2 Tbls. dry red wine
|
1 1/2 tsps. dried thyme
|
1 1/2 lb. flank steak, trimmed
|
|

|
|
|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Whisk first 5 ingredients to blend in 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass dish; season with pepper.

Add steak and turn to coat.
|
|
3:
Marinate steak up to 2 hours at room temperature or cover and refrigerate up to 1 day, turning steak occasionally.
|

4:
Preheat broiler. Remove steak from marinade. Broil steak to desired doneness, about 5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer steak to platter.
