Full-Flavored Beef Steak Recipe marinates beef steaks in marinade of brown and white sugar, ground ginger, garlic, soy sauce and tarragon vinegar before grilling and then bastes the steaks with the marinade while grilling.

INGREDIENTS
|
2 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
|
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
|
1 tablespoon ground ginger
|
1 clove garlic, crushed
|
1/2 cup soy sauce
|
1 tablespoon tarragon
vinegar
|
3 pounds beefsteak (sirloin,
porterhouse, T-bone, or
rib), cut 1 1/2 inches thick
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Combine the sugars, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and vinegar.

Put meat into a large shallow dish and pour soy sauce mixture over meat. Allow to marinate at least 30 minutes, basting frequently and turning once or twice.

When ready to grill, remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade.

Place steak on grill about 3 inches from coals. Brushing frequently with marinade, grill about 6 minutes, or until one
side is browned. Turn and grill other side about 6 minutes, or until done. (To test, slit meat near bone and note color
of meat or test with a cooking thermometer.) Serve immediately.
