Wine Fried Chicken Recipe lightly sautees the chicken and then braises the chicken in sauterne wine and cream to create this deliciously tasty chicken recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
Whole chicken, cut up
|
2 tablespoons butter
|
1 tablespoon oil
|
3/4 cup sauterne wine
|
1/2 cups cream (sweet or sour)
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Season chicken as desired but do not flour.
|
|
2:
In skillet, heat the butter and the oil. Add the chicken and brown thoroughly on all sides.
|
|
3:
Add the wine; cover tightly and simmer for 20 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
|
|
4:
Add the cream, heat again and serve on a platter with the wine-and-cream gravy poured over the chicken.
