Rigatoni Pasta Pie Recipe fills cooked rigatoni pasta with a mixture of Parmesan, mozzarell and ricotta chesses with eggs, basil and oregano then tops with sauce of ground beef and spaghetti sauce to create this fantastic pasta recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
1 lb rigatoni pasta
|
1 lb ground beef
|
2 garlic cloves (minced)
|
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
|
1 small jar of spaghetti sauce
|
cooking spray
|
salt
|
1 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
|
2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
|
4oz cream cheese
|
15oz ricotta cheese
|
2 eggs
|
1 teaspoon basil
|
1 teaspoon oregano
|
1 cup onion
|

DIRECTIONS

Cook the noodles according to the directions on the box.

Brown ground beef, drain. Add chopped onion and garlic. After about 5 minutes add your cream cheese and stir until melted. Add spaghetti sauce. Prepare cheese mixture in a small mixing bowl by mixing the ricotta, Parmesan, basil, oregano and 2 eggs until
smooth then set aside.

Spray the bottom of a springform pan with cooking spray; if a springform pan is not available, a casserole dish may be used. Stand each piece of pasta on end to fill the pan. Fill a ziplock bag with the cheese mixture and close the bag. Snip one corner of the ziplock bag. Pipe a small amount of cheese mixture into each noodle. Poured the meat sauce over the top of the noodles and as possible press some of the meat mixture into each noodle.

Top with 2 cups of mozzarella. Bake in a 350°F oven for 20 minutes; turn the broiler on until the cheese starts to brown.
