Dutch Sausage with Gravy Recipe is a very hearty and very tasty sausage dish with sausage patties topped with gravy using pork sausage, flour, beef broth and onion.

INGREDIENTS
|
1 pound bulk pork sausage
|
1 to 2 tablespoons water
|
1 tablespoon flour
|
1 cup beef broth
|
1 small onion, minced
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|
DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Shape sausage into 4 to 6 flat cakes. Put sausage cakes
into a skillet. Add water; cover tightly and cook slowly about
5 minutes. Remove cover and cook slowly until well browned
on both sides.

Remove cakes to cooking pan of a chafing dish and keep
warm.

3:
Drain off all but 3 tablespoons fat from skillet. Brown
onion in the fat. Stir in flour and cook 1 minute. Stir in broth;
simmer 5 minutes.

4:
Pour gravy over sausage cakes and heat thoroughly.
