Grilled Banana Sandwich on Rye Recipe uses seeded rye bread, margarine and a banana in creating this tasty banana sandwich recipe.


INGREDIENTS
2 slices Jewish rye bread, seeded
1 tbsp margarine
1 large banana


DIRECTIONS
1: Heat a griddle to 350°F. If a griddle is not available, a skillet large enough to accommodate the slices of bread, side-by-side, will work.
 
2: Spread one side of each slice of bread with margarine.
 
3: Peel the banana, discarding the peel. Slice the banana down the middle, lengthwise. Place the slices of bread onto the griddle, buttered side down. Place the banana slices side-by-side on one slice of the bread.
 
4: Grill the slices of bread until both slices begin to brown. Once both sliced are browned, turn the slice with no banana over and onto the slice with the banana. Flatten the sandwich just a little. Remove from the griddle and enjoy.
