Meatball Sandwich Recipe uses ground beef, egg, milk, Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper, basil, marinara sauce and hoagie buns in creating this tasty meatball sandwich recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
1 lb. ground beef
|
2 eggs, beaten
|
1/2 cup milk
|
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
|
1 cup bread crumbs, plain
|
1 onion, minced
|
2 cloves garlic, minced
|
1/2 tsp dried oregano
|
1 tsp salt
|
black pepper, to taste
|
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
|
marinara sauce, search recipes
|
4 6-inch hoagie rolls
|

DIRECTIONS
|

Preheat oven to 350°F.
|

Breakup the hamburger meat eliminating any clumps. Add the remaining ingredients, individually, mixing the ingredients after each addition.

Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Divide the meat mixture into 16 equal portions and form into balls the size of a golf ball. Place the meatballs onto the baking sheet with space between the meatballs. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes. When the meatballs are done, place them into a pot of hot marinara sauce.

Scoop out the bottom half of each roll being careful not to puncture the roll. Remove 4 meatballs and place on the bottom of each roll. Spoon extra marinara sauce over the meatballs if desired. Close the sandwich and enjoy.
