Instant Pot Cuban Sandwich Recipe uses pork loin, oil, salt, pepper, garlic, consommé, orange and lemon juice, white, bread, mustard, butter, ham, provolone cheese, and dill pickles in making this tasty Cuban sandwich recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
1 tbsp olive oil
|
2 lb pork loin, chopped
|
2 tbsp salt
|
1 tbsp pepper
|
6 cloves garlic minced
|
1 1/2 cups of consommé
|
Juice of one orange
|
2 tbsp lemon juice
|
Zest of an orange
|
8 hoagie buns
provolone cheese to taste
Sliced pickles
|
2 tbsp mustard
|
1 tbsp melted butter
|
16 slices sandwich ham
|
16 slices provolone cheese
|
32 dill pickle slices
|

DIRECTIONS

1:
Insert the stainless steel inner pot into the Instant Pot® and add olive oil. Press Saute. Once hot, add pork loin chunks, salt and pepper. Cook 3 to 4 Minutes on each side and remove from the Instant Pot®.

Add the minced garlic, consommé, orange juice, lemon juice and orange zest to the Instant Pot®. Stir and add the pieces of seared pork loin. Close and lock the Instant Pot® lid. Make sure the steam release handle is turned to Sealing. Press Cancel to end Saute function.

Press Pressure Cook, pressure level High, and set the time for 20 Minutes. Once the time is up, press Cancel and turn the steam release handle to Venting. Remove pork loin chunks and chop finely.

Place 2 slices of cheese onto the bottom slice of hoagies, covering the entire bottom. Cover cheese with 2 slices of ham. Cover ham liberally with pork loin. Spread mustard and melted butter on the loin. Place 4 pickle slices down the length of the bun. Top the sandwich. Place sandwiches into heated skillet (medium high) and mash each sandwich with a pot bottom or something flat to flatten the sandwiches. Toast the bun slightly and flip the sandwich over and press flat. When both sides of sandwiches are toasted, cut in half diagonally and serve. Enjoy!
