Lunch Counter Ham Salad Sandwich Recipe uses ham, celery, pickle relish, Miracle Whip, salt, pepper, whole wheat bread, lettuce, and potato chips in serving up this delicious ham salad sandwich recipe.

INGREDIENTS

6 ounces baked ham, finely diced
|
1/4 cup celery, finely diced
|
1 Tbsp. sweet pickle relish or as desired
|
Miracle Whip (not mayonnaise), as needed
|
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
|
4 slices whole wheat bread, toasted
|
2 lettuce leaves
|
2 1 ounce bags potato chips
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
To ham, add celery, then add enough pickle relish and Miracle Whip to suit taste. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix well.

Spread ham salad onto two of the toasted whole wheat bread slices. Top with lettuce.

Place last toast slices on top.
|

4:
Cut each sandwich diagonally. Serve with chips.
