Copycat In-N-Out Double-Double Hamburgers use hamburger meat, 1,000 Island Dressing, tomato, lettuce, American cheese, onion and a plain hamburger bun to create this iconic copycat.

INGREDIENTS
|
1 plain hamburger bun
|
1/3 lb hamburger meat
|
Dash salt
|
1 tbl 1,000 Island Dressing
|
1 slice tomato
|
1 leaf lettuce
|
4 slices American cheese
|
1 slice onion, thinly sliced
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Preheat frying pan over medium heat. Lightly toast the bun. Set aside.

Make two hamburger patties, each patty slightly wider than the bun.
|
|
3:
Lightly salt each patty and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on the first side. Flip the patties and immediately place two slices of cheese on each patty. Continue cooking to desired doneness.

4:
Assemble the burger in the following order from the bottom up: bottom bun, dressing, tomato, lettuce, beef patty with cheese, onion slice, beef patty with cheese, top bun. Enjoy!
