Fresh Tomato Sauce for Pizza Recipe is very good and has so much more taste than store bought with it's great combination of tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, fresh basil or herbes de Provence, salt and white wine.

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Pour boiling water over tomatoes; peel, then chop finely. Heat oil in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add tomatoes and garlic. Mix in basil, salt, and wine. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes. Uncover and cook over medium-high heat, stirring often as sauce begins to thicken, until sauce is thick and reduced to about 1 cup (15 to 20 minutes).
