Copycat Bulls Eye Barbecue Sauce recipe uses corn syrup, tomato paste, vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, liquid smoke, onion powder, ground mustard, garlic powder and paprika to create this very tasty copycat.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup water
|
3/4 cup light corn syrup
|
1/2 cup tomato paste
|
2/3 cup vinegar
|
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
|
3 tbl molasses
|
1 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
|
1 tsp salt
|
1/4 tsp onion powder
|
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
|
1/4 tsp mustard
|
1/8 tsp paprika
|
1/8 tsp garlic powder
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over high heat and whisk until smooth. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 45 minutes or until thick.

After the sauce cools you can use it immediately, but it is best to store in a covered container in the fridge overnight where the flavors blend and improve.
