Oysters Casino Recipe fries chopped bacon then adds onion, green pepper and celery and cooks before adding lemon juice, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and pepper sauce then pours all over oysters before baking this delicious oyster recipe.


INGREDIENTS
1 pint oysters, fresh or frozen
3 slices bacon, chopped
4 tablespoons chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons chopped celery
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 drops liquid hot pepper sauce


DIRECTIONS
1: Thaw oysters if frozen. Drain. Remove any remaining pieces of shell particles. Place oysters in a well-greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
 
2: Fry bacon until crisp. Add onion, green pepper and celery. Cook until vegetables are tender.
 
3: Add lemon juice, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and liquid hot pepper sauce; mix well. Spread bacon mixture over oysters.
 
4: Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, for approximately 10 minutes or until oysters are done and edges curl.
