Italian Meatball Soup Recipe is a robust and flavorful soup which gives you shortcuts by using frozen Italian meatballs and vegetables, canned tomatoes with onion and garlic, beef broth, Italian seasoning, small pasta and other tasty ingredients.

INGREDIENTS
|
1 14 1/2-ounce can diced tomatoes
with onion and garlic
|
1 14-ounce can beef broth
|
1 1/2 cups water
|
1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning,
crushed
|
1/2 of a 16-ounce package frozen
Italian-style cooked meatballs
|
1 cup loose-pack frozen mixed
vegetables
|
1/2 cup dried small pasta, such as
ditalini or orzo
|
1 tablespoon finely shredded or grated Parmesan cheese
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
In a large saucepan combine
undrained tomatoes, beef broth,
water, and Italian seasoning. Bring
to boiling.

Stir in meatballs, frozen
vegetables, and pasta. Return to
boiling; reduce heat. Simmer,
covered, about 10 minutes or until
vegetables and pasta are tender.
Ladle soup into bowls and sprinkle
with Parmesan cheese. Makes
4 servings.

TIP: If desired, cook Mild or
Hot Italian Sausage links, then cut
into bite-size pieces and use in
place of the meatballs.
