Mushrooms Vittoria Recipe creates a delicious side dish which complements any main dish using butter, olive oil, garlic cloves, mushrooms, white wine and Italian parsley in making this tasty vegetable recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
2 Tbls. (1/4 stick) butter
|
2 Tbls. olive oil
|
8 large garlic cloves, flattened
|
1 1/4 lbs. large mushrooms, halved or quartered if very large
|
1 cup dry white wine
|
Chopped Italian parsley
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Melt butter with oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add garlic and saute until beginning to brown, about 2 minutes.
|
|

Using slotted spoon, remove garlic and discard. Add mushrooms and saute until brown and juices evaporate, about 15 minutes.
|

Add wine and simmer until reduced to glaze on mushrooms, stirring occasionally about 10 minutes. Season mushrooms to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
