Nacho Sliced Jalapenos Recipe creates an all natural condiment which complements many dishes using jalapeno peppers, vinegar, salt, garlic and oregano in creating this jalapeno recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
6 - 8 large jalapeno peppers
|
3/4 cups water
|
3/4 cups white vinegar
|
1 Tbl. Kosher salt
|
1 clove garlic, crushed
|
1/2 tsp. oregano, dried
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Slice jalapenos into 1/8 inch rounds. Discard stem and stem end. Place peppers into a colander and rinse in cold water to remove excess and loose seeds.

Place all other ingredients into a sauce pan and place on medium heat. Bring to boil.
|
|
3:
Add jalapenos slices to hot liquid and stir. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
|
|
4:
Remove jalapenos slices and place in glass container. Pour liquid left in pot into container and over jalapenos to cover. Place lid on container and refrigerate.
