Hawaiian Rice Balls with Cheese Recipe is the chile of sugar plantation workers from China who brought their love of rice to Hawaii. Easy and tasty using cheddar cheese, horseradish, salt, mustard and cold cooked rice.

INGREDIENTS

1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
|
1 1/2 tsp. horseradish
|
1 tbsp. mustard
|
1 c. cold cooked rice
|
Salt
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Shape cheese into small firm balls. Combine horseradish
and mustard; blend well. Coat cheese balls with
horseradish mixture. Press rice firmly around cheese
balls; sprinkle lightly with salt. Fry in deep fat. Serve
on wooden picks.
