Pizza Dough Recipe a simple, straightforward recipe using dry yeast, olive oil, unbleached flour or bread flour and salt creates this nice textured and very tasty pizza dough recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
Half a package (1 1/2 teaspoons) active dry yeast
|
3/4 cup warm water
(about 105°F)
|
2 tablespoons olive oil
|
2 1/2 cups unbleached flour or
bread flour
|
1 teaspoon salt
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
In a small bowl dissolve yeast in the warm water and let proof 5 minutes. Stir in olive oil. In a large bowl combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and stir until dough just
barely holds together.

Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface and knead until soft and silky, adding a little more flour if necessary. Put dough in an oiled bowl and turn to coat surface with oil. Cover bowl with plastic and let rise in
a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.

Use dough in any pizza.
|

Makes enough dough for 12 to 15 cocktail wedges or 20 to 24 small squares.
