Corn Sticks Recipe uses a special skillet and flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, yellow cornmeal, eggs, sour cream and vegetable oil to cook these unique and very tasty corn sticks.


INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/3 cups yellow cornmeal
1 egg, beaten
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons vegetable oil


DIRECTIONS
1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees with corn-stick pan inside it. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and sugar. Add cornmeal.
 
2: In a mixing bowl, combine egg, sour cream and oil.
 
3: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and stir to combine. Pour batter into preheated corn-stick pan.
 
4: Bake for 25 minutes or until golden around the edges. Makes 10 to 12 corn sticks.
