Quick Buttermilk Bread Recipe makes a delicious buttermilk bread using flour, baking powder and soda, salt, brown sugar, oats, buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs and pecans with this buttermilk bread recipe.


INGREDIENTS
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups uncooked oats
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup chopped pecans


DIRECTIONS
1: Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Stir in brown sugar and oats. Add remaining ingredients; stir only until dry ingredients are moistened.
 
2: Pour batter into a greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
 
3: Bake at 350°F 50 to 55 minutes. Cool on wire rack about 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool thoroughly.
 
4: Wrap and store. (Bread will slice better if stored a day before slicing.)
