Sticky Barbecued Spare Ribs Recipe coats pork spare ribs with a tasty barbecue sauce of ketchup and hoisin sauce before baking and then serving with sauteed baby bok choy and sticky rice in this pork spare rib barbecue recipe.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup ketchup
|
1 cup hoisin sauce
|
1 rack pork spare ribs (about 2 lbs), membrane removed
|
Black pepper
|
Sauteed baby bok choy and sticky rice, for serving
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Heat the oven to 400°F. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup and hoisin.

Season the ribs with 1/2 tsp pepper. Place the ribs in a large ovenproof baking dish (cut the rack in half if necessary). Pour the ketchup mixture over the ribs, turning to coat evenly.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove the foil and continue baking until the meat is tender, easily pulls away from the bone and the glaze is beginning to char, 20 to 25 minutes.

Transfer the rack to a cutting board and cut into pieces. Serve with bok choy and sticky rice, if desired.
