Sticky Barbecued Spare Ribs Recipe coats pork spare ribs with a tasty barbecue sauce of ketchup and hoisin sauce before baking and then serving with sauteed baby bok choy and sticky rice in this pork spare rib barbecue recipe.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup ketchup
1 cup hoisin sauce
1 rack pork spare ribs (about 2 lbs), membrane removed
Black pepper
Sauteed baby bok choy and sticky rice, for serving

DIRECTIONS
1: Heat the oven to 400°F. In a small bowl, combine the ketchup and hoisin.

2: Season the ribs with 1/2 tsp pepper. Place the ribs in a large ovenproof baking dish (cut the rack in half if necessary). Pour the ketchup mixture over the ribs, turning to coat evenly.

3: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 1 hour. Remove the foil and continue baking until the meat is tender, easily pulls away from the bone and the glaze is beginning to char, 20 to 25 minutes.

4: Transfer the rack to a cutting board and cut into pieces. Serve with bok choy and sticky rice, if desired.
