Baked Lobster Tails Recipe complements the taste of lobster tails with butter, garlic powder, and paprika and serves the tails on an attractive bed of lettuce leaves.


INGREDIENTS
6 lobster tails (1/2 pound each), fresh or frozen
1 cup melted butter or margarine, divided in half
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Paprika
10 to 12 lettuce leaves, rinsed and drained


DIRECTIONS
1: Thaw lobster if frozen. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pan-cut lobster tails by cutting off the under shell, leaving the tail fan and upper shell in place. Place lobster, shell side down, on baking sheet; add garlic powder and salt to 1/2 cup butter and brush onto lobster meat; sprinkle with paprika.
 
2: Cover tails completely with damp lettuce leaves and bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until lobster meat is opaque and tender.
 
3: Discard lettuce leaves. Serve with remaining melted butter.
