Barbecued Fish Recipe wraps bass steaks in bacon and then basts in a mixture of barbecue sauce, dried onion, lemon, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and catsup while grilling to perfection.

INGREDIENTS
|
2 3 to 4-lb. fresh bass
|
8 to 10 strips bacon
|
1 cup bottled barbecue sauce
|
1 tbsp. finely diced onion
|
Juice of 1 lemon
|
Dash of Worcestershire sauce
|
Dash of hot sauce
|
Catsup to taste
|

DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Cut bass crosswise into 1 1/2-inch steaks; wrap each steak with strip of bacon. Tie securely with twine. Place steaks on grill.

Combine barbecue sauce, onion, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and catsup. Brush steaks with barbecue sauce mixture.

Grill, turning and basting, until done.
