Supreme Mixed Tomato Pickles Recipe cooks green tomatoes, onion, sweet peppers, cucumbers, celery seed, sugar and white vinegar before canning to make this deliciously tasty pickled vegetable recipe.

INGREDIENTS
|
1 gallon green tomatoes
|
6 medium onions
|
6 red sweet peppers
|
6 green sweet peppers
|
6 medium cucumbers
|
1/2 cup salt
|
1 tablespoon celery seed
|
3 lb. sugar
|
1 pint white vinegar
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
DIRECTIONS
|
1:
Quarter tomatoes; chop onions. Cut up red peppers, green peppers and cucumbers. Place tomatoes, onions, salt and water to cover in a large kettle; cook for 10 minutes. Drain; do not stir.

Add red peppers, green peppers, cucumbers, celery seed, sugar and vinegar; cook for 20 minutes or until vegetables are done.

Spoon into sterilized pint jars; seal
