Green Beans Extraordinaire Recipe

Jackie Jackson
Green Beans Extraordinaire Recipe cooks green beans with butter, onion, chicken bouillon and granulated garlic to create this delicious and very tasty green bean recipe.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb. green beans
2 Tbl. butter
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. chicken bouillon powder
Pinch granulated garlic
DIRECTIONS
Wash and clean the green beans or pole beans and remove any stem parts and remove and strings from the front or back of the bean. Cut or break the beans into bite size pieces.
Bring a pot of water, large enough to accommodate the beans to a boil. Place the beans in the pot and boil for 3 minutes. While the beans are boiling, fill a large bowl with ice and water to make an ice bath. After boiling, carefully pour the beans into a colander to drain. Immediately place the beans in the ice water and stir to stop cooking.
Place the butter into a large skillet over medium high heat. When the butter has melted, add the chopped onion to the skillet and stir to coat the onion with butter. Cook the onion, stirring occasionally, until the onion is soft and translucent. Drain the beans in a colander and then add to the skillet. Stir well. Cook the beans until the beans are soft to the bite. Add the chicken bouillon and stir well.
Add the granulated garlic and stir well. Remove the beans to a bowl for serving. Enjoy!!
