Bobbie's Delicious Pork Steak
by:
Bobbie Davis
Bobbie's Delicious Pork Steak Recipe uses delicious pork steak (actually sliced Boston butt), tosses the steaks in a light breader and then fries in a touch of oil until golden brown and deliciously tasty to create this pork recipe.
INGREDIENTS
pork steaks, number as needed
House Autry Chicken Breader
oil
DIRECTIONS
Coat each pork steak with House Autry Chicken Breader or breading of your choice.
Place vegetable oil or butter into a large skillet over medium high heat.
Once oil is heated, slowly add pork steaks to fill skillet. Move steaks around when placed in oil to prevent them from sticking.
Allow steaks to cook for 3 to 4 minutes and using a fork, lift an edge of the steaks and if golden brown, turn steaks over to cook the other side. Cook until golden brown. Check temperature with a thermometer and remove from heat at 165°F. If no thermometer is available, cut through thickest part of steaks to check doneness. Goes great with Bobbie's Steamed Cabbage Recipe. Serve and enjoy!
