Baked Haddock Au Gratin

Baked Haddock Au Gratin bakes a haddock with canned tomatoes, garlic, American or Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and chopped thyme to make this delicious fish recipe.
|
INGREDIENTS
|
1 whole or filleted haddock, about 3 lbs.
|
1 No. 2 can tomatoes
|
1 clove garlic, chopped fine
|
4 Tbl. American or Parmesan cheese, cut in bits
|
Salt and pepper, to taste
|
1 Tbl. chopped thyme
|
|

|

|
|
DIRECTIONS
|
Place fillets in greased baking dish. Add remaining ingredients.
|
|
Bake in moderate oven, 350°F, until fish flakes when pierced with a fork, about 1 hour. Serves 6.
|
|
Note: Flounder, cod or ocean perch fillets may be substituted for haddock. Cut down baking time to 35 minutes.
