Northwest Fruit Slaw Salad

Northwest Fruit Slaw Salad Recipe combines light and dark sweet cherries with pears and shredded lettuce then tosses lightly with Creamy Fruit Mayonnaise and serves on bed of lettuce garnished with pear slices and cherries.
INGREDIENTS
1 can (16 ounces) light sweet cherries
1 can (16 ounces) dark sweet cherries
3 fresh Anjou, Bosc, or Cornice pears
2 cups finely shredded cabbage
Creamy Fruit Mayonnaise (search recipes)
Lettuce
DIRECTIONS
Drain cherries and remove pits. Reserve a few cherries for garnish. Core and dice 1 pear. Core and slice remaining pears into wedges for garnish.
Combine cabbage, cherries, and diced pear. Add Creamy Fruit Mayonnaise and toss lightly to coat fruit and cabbage.
Line a serving bowl with lettuce and spoon in salad. Garnish with pear wedges and reserved cherries.
